Abstrakt
Der Autor schlägt unter dem Begriff der Qualitativen Performance ein neues Modell zur Untersuchung und Bewertung der Arbeit von öffentlichen Theatern vor. Im Rahmen einer quantitativen Untersuchung aller Stadttheater entwickelt er vier neue Indikato- ren, die die Grundlage für den ersten Teil – einen quantitativen, auf die wirtschaftliche Leistung ausgerichteten Performance-Index – bilden. Hierzu gehören Mitarbeitereffizienz, Ressourcen-Aufwand, Reichweite und Einspielquote. Der quantitative Index wird durch zwei weitere Messungen ergänzt, mit denen die strukturelle und die künstlerische Performance untersucht und ermittelt werden können. Stellt man alle drei Indizes zusammen, kann man schließlich die Qualitative Performance ermitteln, die Auskunft gibt über die Gesamtleistungsfähigkeit eines Theaters, die man mit der Performance anderer Theater vergleichen kann. Damit ist zugleich der erste Versuch verbunden, die künstlerische Leistung eines Theaters mittels komplexer Hilfsindikatoren zu bewerten.
Abstract
The author proposes a new model for the evaluation of German public theaters based on the concept of qualitative performance.
As a result of a quantitative study of all German public theaters, the author developed four new indicators that form the basis for a quantitative performance index (Ch. 2). These include an employee ratio, a resource ratio, a range ratio, and a performance ratio. The quantitative index is supplemented by two further series of measurements that can be used to analyze and determine the structural and artistic performance of the theaters. By grouping together all three indices, the qualitative performance gives information about the overall performance of a theater.
