Abstrakt

Kulturmanagement hat mit seinen positiven, lösungsorientierten Haltungen wesentlich dazu beigetragen, den Kulturbetrieb zu öffnen und zu erweitern. Inzwischen sind die Verfahren und Instrumente des Kulturmanagements unverzichtbar für die Initiierung und Implementierung von Wachstumsprozessen in den kreativen Bereichen. Die aktuelle Kritik an den Wachstums-, Beschleunigungs- und Innovationszwängen stellt auch die Praxis des Kulturmanagement infrage. Selbstkritik, die Reflexion der gesellschaftlichen Position des Faches ist daher angesagt.

Abstract

Through the use of positive, solution-oriented perspectives, cultural management has contributed significantly to opening and expanding the cultural industry. Meanwhile, the methods and instruments of cultural management are essential for the initiation and implementation of growth processes in the creative sector. The current criticism of this pressure for growth, acceleration, and innovation also questions the practice of cultural management. This paper calls for self-criticism, or the act of reflection on the social position of the subject.
